Aiken High Performance Supporters Day

Event riders on the USEF High Performance Training lists have already been hard at work in coaching sessions out at Stable View Farm in Aiken. Auditors are invited to come and watch these sessions, which provide an unequaled opportunity to see members and prospective members of our international team honing their craft. It also gives auditors a chance to hear coaching and advice from the best the country has to offer, all at no fee. For serious students of eventing, this is priceless.

On Thursday, February 12, there will be a whole day of activities for supporters of the eventing team. These start with a training session at 8:00 am at Stable View. The session will be coached by David O’Connor and Leslie Law will sit with the auditors to help explain what is happening and to provide additional insight.

From 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm there will be a tour of some of Aiken’s finest farms. These will include Fox Race South, Toad Hall, Two Notch Farm, Red Oak Farm and Kellsboro House. The day will conclude with a reception at Fox Frolic Farm where Will Connell, the new eventing Director of Sport and David O’Connor, the chef d’equipe of Eventing, will discuss plans for the future of USEF High Performance.

The day’s events are sponsored by Triple Crown Feeds. Although there is no set charge to participate in the activities, donations to cover costs as well as to assist USEF Eventing are being accepted at the 5 pm reception, or may be mailed to:
