Julie Robins In Horsewoman Challenge

Press Release:
April 2014

Aiken’s own Julie Robins, founder of Aiken Horsemanship Academy, has been selected as one of 35 women from across the US and Canada to compete in the American Horsewoman Challenge.  This competition was created to showcase the talents of women horse trainers.  The competition requires Julie to take a 3-6 year old horse with less than three rides and prepare it to compete in Liberty, Cowboy Dressage, Ranch/Versatility and Extreme Cowboy Racing.

Dream Equine and Kelly Kohr have provided Julie with her competition partner, Moonshine.  He is 3 year old quarter horse gelding who has not yet been ridden.  Julie will have less than 6 months to prep this youngster.

As part of Julie’s commitment to educating people on how horses learn, Julie will be offering several training session where the public is invited to come watch and meet Moonshine.  Tentative dates are Sat. April 19 & 26, 2014.
